I love to watch children at play. They are 100% involved in what they’re doing, and enjoying it! They haven’t bought into the “life is hard” mis-belief.
So I was thrilled to read this about JOY and play:

And, as Lauren states what I’ve believed with this 21 Days of JOY experiment .. “the “paradigm of purposeful PLAY”…where our passion, purpose and potential will be a direct reflection of our true LIGHTness of being…because ultimately, if we are not en-joy-ing ourselves, we are not whole-HEARTedly contributing to the new timeline where “work” does not exist
Ouch! How many times have I done things because I “should” rather than from JOY? It’s time to quit putting out half-hearted energy. So today I’m more conscious of enjoying myself and what the day brings. 100% JOY in new tires, phone appointments, posting this at the Ormond Beach library (overlooking the Intracoastal – gorgeous view!) between meetings, and a smoke-free day (the rain and seabreeze have helped reduce the smoke from the fires).
JOY creates more JOY (something we need a lot of!), it’s more fun in the moment and it creates a better tomorrow.

I loved how the HeartMath article explains the importance of JOY!

In simple terms most people can relate to, what this means is that when we are having a bad day, going through a rough period such as dealing with the sickness of a loved one or coping with financial troubles, we can actually influence our bodies – all the way down to the cellular level – by intentionally thinking positive thoughts and focusing on positive emotions. “ You can read the whole article here.
