I love to watch children at play.  They are 100% involved in what they’re doing, and enjoying it!  They haven’t bought into the “life is hard” mis-belief.

So I was thrilled to read this about JOY and play:

“What we would like for you to realize most thru this spectacular summer event (i.e three eclipses in 6 week.  Eclipses are said to intensify whatever is going on in your life and the world) is that your only purpose is to breed joy.  Your mission has always been to first, rise up to meet joy, to embody joy, and finally, to find ways to embrace and engage those things that bring you ultimate joy.” –Pleiadian High Council as channeled through Lauren Gorgo

And, as Lauren states what I’ve believed with this 21 Days of JOY experiment ..  “the “paradigm of purposeful PLAY”…where our passion, purpose and potential will be a direct reflection of our true LIGHTness of being…because ultimately, if we are not en-joy-ing ourselves, we are not whole-HEARTedly contributing to the new timeline where “work” does not exist

Ouch!  How many times have I done things because I “should” rather than from JOY?  It’s time to quit putting out half-hearted energy.  So today I’m more conscious of enjoying myself and what the day brings.  100% JOY in new tires, phone appointments, posting this at the Ormond Beach library (overlooking the Intracoastal – gorgeous view!) between meetings, and a smoke-free day (the rain and seabreeze have helped reduce the smoke from the fires).

JOY creates more JOY (something we need a lot of!), it’s more fun in the moment and it creates a better tomorrow.

Wishing you  100% JOY today and JOYful tomorrows!

I loved how the HeartMath article explains the importance of JOY!

“A Steady Diet of Quantum Nutrients

“When we have negative emotions such as anger, anxiety and dislike or hate, or think negative thoughts such as ‘I hate my job,’ ‘I don’t like so and so’ or ‘Who does he think he is?’, we experience stress and our energy reserves are redirected,” an article on IHM’s website explains. This causes a portion of our energy reserves, which otherwise would be put to work maintaining, repairing and regenerating our complex biological systems, to instead confront the stresses these negative thoughts and feelings create.

“In contrast,” the article continues, “when we activate the power of our hearts’ commitment and intentionally have sincere feelings such as appreciation, care and love, we allow our hearts’ electrical energy to work for us. Consciously choosing a core heart feeling over a negative one means instead of the drain and damage stress causes to our bodies’ systems, we are renewed mentally, physically and emotionally. The more we do this the better we’re able to ward off stress and energy drains in the future. Heartfelt positive feelings fortify our energy systems and nourish the body at the cellular level. At HeartMath we call these emotions quantum nutrients.”

In simple terms most people can relate to, what this means is that when we are having a bad day, going through a rough period such as dealing with the sickness of a loved one or coping with financial troubles, we can actually influence our bodies – all the way down to the cellular level – by intentionally thinking positive thoughts and focusing on positive emotions. You can read the whole article here.

Don’t you love the idea of Quantum Nutrients?!!!  Especially when you face being run down by all sorts of stress?

So give yourself permission to tap into Quantum Nutrients by focusing on something today that brings you JOY!  Even if everything is going perfectly today, build your reserves!  Some to spare and share!

If you need some Quantum Nutrient ideas, just pick one (or more) from previous posts.  There are lots of good tools in there!

21 Days of JOY Experiment – Day 7: Bungee Jump of Life

June 14, 2011

I’ve never bungee jumped, and don’t want to any more, but some days feel like I imagine bungee jumping to feel.  Jerked between thrill and anguish, joy and despair, fun and “why did I ever agree to this?!” Yesterday felt like that, especially when workmen appeared at my second story window, talking, ladders clanking, smoke [...]

21 Days of JOY Experiment – Day 8: The Most Powerful Technique!

June 14, 2011

Big Joy!  I love tapping with clients and groups!!  The interactive, intuitive “dance” that can clear decades of “sludge” (that’s how a client described it yesterday) in a few minutes.  Sometimes it still amazes me how fast and easy it is! Sure, I use it on small irritations.  But shifting the BIG stuff – priceless!!! [...]

21 Days of JOY Experiment – Day 6 – What is Joy?

June 12, 2011

A poem I wanted to share.  I especially love the truths and imagery. JOY True inner joy is self – created. It does not depend on outer circumstances. A river is flowing in and through you carrying the message of joy. This divine joy is the sole purpose of life.   What is joy? It [...]

21 Days of Joy Experiment #5 – Permission, Noticing & Dolphins

June 11, 2011

Joy.  As much as I would like to be in JOY all the time, I’m not. Yesterday I got thrown off when a situation I was excited about turned out to be something totally different.  After criticizing myself for my reaction and thinking about how I would have preferred responding, I gave myself… Permission… To [...]

21 Days of JOY – Day 4 – Gratitude, Signs & Feeling Good!

June 10, 2011

First, a bit about how my day went yesterday.  JOY is starting to show up in wonderful ways! After tapping my way a couple of notches up the vibrational scale, I went for a walk on the beach – at sunrise. Well, I kind of fell off the JOY wagon, so I was walking and [...]

21 Days of Joy Experiment – Day 3 Tapping up the vibrational scale

June 10, 2011

Joy? I’m trying harder to find it this morning, with workman at the window, ladders clanking, plastic covering all the windows (and I’m slightly claustrophobic). Choice… Whether to focus on frustration, irritation. Impatience Or To tap my way a few steps up the vibrational scale. So, I tapped from #10 (frustration/impatience) up to pessimism (got [...]

21 Days of Joy Experiment – Day 2

June 8, 2011

Some days Joy might seem hard to find and far away!  When you’re in pain, stressed over paying the bills, feeling unloved and unsupported or overwhelmed, Joy may seem like an impossibility.  So I was thrilled to discover these, and just how easy they are!   But the truth, Joy IS.  It’s always there.  And, [...]
